MEET THE TEAM
LAUREN BEAM, CPA
Lauren is a graduate of Nicholas County High School. She is a 2017 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Honors College at West Virginia University, earning degrees in Accounting and Finance. Lauren earned her Certified Public Accountant designation in 2018. Lauren started at the firm in 2018 and became a name partner in 2023.
Lauren is on the board of Active Southern West Virginia and the West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys trail running, eating at new restaurants, and traveling with her husband and two young children.
ELIZABETH ANDERSON, CPA
Elizabeth is a graduate of Nicholas County High School and lifelong resident of Canvas, WV. She is a graduate of Glenville State College where she earned her degree in accounting. Elizabeth has been working in the accounting field for nearly thirty years. In 1997, Elizabeth and John started Anderson Bookkeeping (now Anderson & Beam, CPAs) out of a desire to be closer to their growing family. John and Elizabeth both earned their CPA designations in May of 2000.
In her spare time Elizabeth enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her family, including her 5 grandbabies!
Jennifer Mckinney
Jennifer is a graduate of Nicholas County High school and resident of Canvas, WV. Jennifer has served Anderson & Beam as the administrative assistant since 2016. In her spare time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
